Doughnuts With Dad

We hope to see our Dads or other adult friends with our sweet children (2's and up) at the scheduled time for doughnuts! This is always such a special time!

Dad's of Two, Three, Four and Five-Year-Olds   Please join us for Doughnuts With Dad (or one adult friend) Thursday, March 3rd or Friday, March 4th 8:30 to 9:00 a.m.    Please come to Doughnuts With Dad in your child's classroom  at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, March 3rd if your child is in one of the following classes:  Two-Year-Olds T/Th Four-Year-Olds M/T/W/Th Five-Year-Olds M/T/W/Th/F Please come to Doughnuts With Dad in your child's classroom  at 8:30 a.m. Friday, March 4th if your child is in one of the following classes:  Two-Year-Olds M/W/F  Three-Year-Olds M/W/F Three-Year-Olds T/Th/F Three-Year-Olds T/W/Th/F If you have two or more children in different classrooms, you are encouraged to split your time between both. If your child's attendance does not fall on a Thursday or Friday, you are welcome to contact your teacher and stop in for a visit. Please plan to park in front of the church on Highland Avenue or in the parking lot on Highland Avenue to avoid congestion during morning carpool.

Registration Information for Mountain Brook City Schools

Mountain Brook City Schools kindergarten this year can begin the process on Jan. 25.

Jan. 25 is the first day parents or guardians can create their child’s online student account on the Mountain Brook Schools district website. Parents or guardians will fill out their child’s demographic information on that website and be able to pay for kindergarten items including supplies and field trips.

This online step should be completed before attending on-site enrollment.

On-site enrollment takes place throughout February, depending on the elementary school.

• Mountain Brook Elementary: Feb. 3
• Brookwood Forest Elementary: Feb. 10
• Cherokee Bend Elementary: Feb. 17
• Crestline Elementary: Feb. 24

On-site enrollment takes place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the designated days.

When attending on-site enrollment, bring the following items:

• Proof of residency, such as a property deed, title insurance or current lease agreement (Note: If siblings are currently enrolled in Mountain Brook Schools and the family residence has not changed, proof of residency is not required.)
• Child’s Social Security card (voluntary). If a Social Security number is not available or not provided, an internal number will be assigned.
• Birth certificate or other proof of age.
• Certificate of immunization. The original blue form can be provided if a child is not 5 years old at the time of enrollment, and an updated form can be turned in after the child turns 5.

Three Year Olds Spread Christmas Joy

The three year olds had a wonderful and joyous Christmas program last Friday. A huge thank you to Jill Marlar, our music teacher, who plans the perfect programs and works tirelessly to get the best out of our students.We were happy to welcome parents, aunts and uncles, grandparents, and even some great-grandparents to the Great Hall to hear our children sing and play instruments. Listening to small voices sing beautiful Christmas songs and seeing the excitement on their faces remind us all of the true meaning of Christmas. May your Christmas be Christ-centered and filled with joy, love, and laughter!
