Frozen Yogurt Bark is a healthy snack or dessert and is really fun to have your kids make. I have put a July 4th spin on it with my toppings, but you can add all sorts of other things to the yogurt. I actually think you could probably mix all the ingredients in a bowl first and make popsicles, but the bark is so pretty and the colors stand out so well.
INGREDIENTS:
Greek yogurt - if unsweetened, add some honey
Blueberries
Strawberries
Granola
INSTRUCTIONS:
Get out a rimmed baking sheet.
Line with parchment paper. (I learned a great tip for helping the parchment paper stay in place on the pan - after tearing a piece from the box, ball it up and open a few times. Then smooth it out and place on your pan and voila! it stays put. Each child could take a turn - good hand strength building.)
Spread the yogurt all over the pan. Thicker is better.
Add your fruit and granola.
Place in the freezer. Mine took about 3 hours to freeze solid.
Remove from freezer and either break apart or cut apart with a knife.
Enjoy!
Return any leftover pieces to the freezer in an airtight container.
OTHER TOPPINGS (which would all be yummy!):
chocolate chips
caramel chips
M and M's
Dried cranberries
Coconut
Nuts
