Discovering the Beauty of Fall

Our four-year-olds Play Day classes spent time in the park today with eyes opened wide for the beauty of fall that God has painted for us. They observed not only the beautiful leaf colors and enjoyed the perfect weather, but they also collected some acorns. Choosing their favorites when they returned to their classrooms was fun and they discovered that although many acorns can be found that are brown and smooth, others were sill in their cases, fuzzy and gray. It looked like the acorns were wearing coats! What a wonderful time of year to spend time outside with your family and discover fall all over again.

An Extra Special Music Program

This Friday at 10:00 in 3116 there will be a special performance by a friend of our own Mr. Jerome's.  Mr. K.B. Solomon, an Alabama native, is a very talented vocalist and guitarist who has performed world wide.  Mr. Solomon plans to present a music performance sure to delight pre-schoolers.  We will take all our children who attend the Day School on Friday next door for this special music program. If your child does not attend the Day School on Fridays, you are welcome to bring them and stay with them to enjoy this special event.  The following link, provided by Mr. Solomon, includes not only a sample of his singing but also an ongoing project dear to his heart.
