Socktober Was A Huge Success

Knowing that socks are the most asked for item by our homeless neighbors, the Day School participated in IPC's Socktober to collect socks. Thank you to all the families that sent us new pairs of socks for IPC's Community Ministries to distribute to various agencies, groups and visitors to this Ministry. We collected
599 pairs of socks. They will surely keep the feet of many women, children, and men warm this winter. Thank you for your generosity!

WORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

IPC DAY SCHOOL

The Day School classes are preparing for Halloween. Every class picked a pumpkin from the IPC Pumpkin Patch last week. This week, the classes will have all kinds of themed activities, including pumpkin math and Halloween art. The Three-Year-Olds thought it was great fun choosing a class pumpkin!

FAMILY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY

During October, we are asking families to donate new socks for men, women and children. IPC Community Ministries will distribute donations to local shelters as well as to our homeless neighbors sleeping on the street. Your donations will help keep feet warm and dry as cold weather approaches. You can drop socks off at the church Monday through Friday or drop in the labeled bins under the covered walkway or have socks shipped to the church: Susan Clayton, 3100 Highland Ave, Birmingham, AL 35205.
