Helping Hurricane Michael Survivors

SERVE.

Join IPC, Boy Scout Troop 28, the City of Birmingham, and Help Hurricane Michael Survivors
Search efforts are still underway for people missing in Florida following Hurricane Michael. This historic Category 4 storm killed at least 19 people and leveled homes and businesses. More than 2,000 people are still living in shelters a week later and 160,000 are without power.
In support of the City of Birmingham Supply Drive for Hurricane Michael survivors, IPC and other community partners will be collecting donations. IPC will accept donations of canned food, bottled water, cleaning supplies, small tools (garden rakes, shovels, tarps, etc), baby and adult diapers, baby formula, wipes, flash lights/batteries, pet food, and sunscreen until Friday at noon in the bridal room off the parlor. The scouts will load up and deliver supplies to Boutwell Auditorium Friday.
If you cannot make it to IPC, you can also drop donations off at:
  • Sol's at 2 North 20th Street
  • Slice Pizza at 725 29th Street South
  • Sky Castle at 2808 7th Avenue South
  • Canterbury United Methodist at 350 Overbrook Road in the small parking lot by "the Better Bin"
  • Levite Jewish Community Center at 3960 Montclair Road
 Thank you for support!
