Create Your Own Obstacle Courses

Obstacle Courses provide hours of fun and physical activity and they can be created inside or outside by adults or children. Parents could make an obstacle course outside and surprise their children or families could work together to make a course everyone can enjoy. Remember the obstacles must be doable for the youngest member of your family. Number one is to find a safe place to make your course. Moving between or through obstacles can involve running, hopping, jumping, crawling, crab walking, holding a ball between your knees and even singing while you do it! The only limit is your imagination. The courses can be run over and over and timed if you want to add this element. To keep the competition down, have each person continue to try to beat their own best time.
