What's Going On This Week @ IPC

The Family eUpdate - October 19, 2020

THIS WEEK

All IPC Day School and church mothers are invited to a discussion of Jen Hatmaker's "Out of the Spin Cycle: Devotions to Lighten Your Mother Load". This group will meet in-person at Highland Hall on the patio.

THIS SUNDAY

Pre-registration required to receive secure Zoom link

We are continuing Virtual Atrium through November and December. If you have already registered for Sept/Oct, you do not have to register again. For those of you who have NOT previously registered we ask that you register so that we can send out a secure Zoom link for those families participating. In addition to the weekly Sunday morning Zoom Virtual Atrium lessons, we will be sending out follow up emails with cultivated materials to reinforce what we have learned on Sundays to all registered families.

COMING SOON

We are inviting all 4th, 5th & 6th graders to join us for an in-person 456 Small Group event as we gather for fellowship, service, faith formation, and a boxed dinner on Sunday, November 8 from 4:00-6:30 p.m. We will be practicing social distancing and wearing masks in the large assembly room in Highland Hall for our big atrium lesson "La Fettuccia" (the long ribbon). We hope you can join us! Registration is required by CLICKING HERE. Contact Kay Roller, kroller@ipc-usa.org, with any questions.

FOR PARENTS

IPC DAY SCHOOL

Everyone at the Day School is looking forward to Halloween! Mrs. Carolyn’s Older Toddlers are learning about pumpkins and the color orange. This week each class will go to our Day School “Pumpkin Patch” to pick a pumpkin for their classroom.

FAMILY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

During October, we are asking families to donate new socks for men, women and children. IPC Community Ministries will distribute donations to local shelters as well as to our homeless neighbors sleeping on the street. Your donations will help keep feet warm and dry as cold weather approaches. You can drop socks off at the church Monday through Friday or drop in the labeled bins under the covered walkway or have socks shipped to the church: Susan Clayton, 3100 Highland Ave, Birmingham, AL 35205.
