Happy Memorial Day! I hope you will take time to talk with your children about the meaning of the day....many people throughout America's history have fought so we can be free. These soldiers were and are brave men and women, and some of you may be among them. If so, thank you. Be on the lookout with your children for all the flags displayed.This is also a good time to help your children include in the blessing before a meal or at bedtime thanking God for our freedom and ask his blessing on our land. If they are young, they will not comprehend it all, but you will be planting seeds of thankfulness for an important group of people and our freedom.....freedom that will allow them to grow up to be and do whatever they dream.
